Tanya Mann, an award winning wine professional with 17 years of experience in international wine, a Circle of Wine Writers committee member, native Russian and naturalised British Citizen who specializes in reviewing wine and teaching wine business.
Tanya holds a Diploma in Level IV WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust) along with a Sommelier School Diploma, she has degrees in both Chemical Technology and Psychology, is a Certified Sherry Wine Educator, an IWSC and Imbibe judge and Progetto Vino Collisioni member (supporting italian native grapes).
Having studied in Enoteca Italiana Wine School in Italy, she has experience working at the Selfridges wine department in London and Chateau Margaux in Bordeaux and was a key member of the teams behind digital wine marketing projects including www.glassofbubbly.com and the award winning www.sherryweek.wine. Tanya spends 1/4 of the year visiting and tasting at wineries and runs master-classes in Italy and East-European countries including lecturing in Forte Village the Five Star Management Business School in Sardinia. Her articles appear in Russian, British and Italian press and she is currently working on her first book.
Tanya is also the proud owner of two Harpers Award winning gastropubs and a 5 Star hotel in Essex where she often hosts exclusive wine and gastronomy events.

Life really is too short to eat bad food, drink simple wines and write boring reviews. I love to write about food and wine experiences that have inspired me, intrigued me and have made me feel fantastic.
Over the years I have developed strong relationships of trust with my publishers allowing me the freedom to write articles about unique and personal experiences such as on exquisite and unique locations at both vineyards and events. Some of my most recent projects include London Selfridges and Chateau Margaux (Bordeax). Tanya created a new consumer friendly awards programme with innovative categories for the Champagne & Sparkling Wine Industry:
“Wine is one of the few products in shops that most people have very little knowledge about when buying. You are unable to taste it and you certainly can not return it once it has been opened, if you personally didn’t like it!”
There are already many awards for wines in this ever fast growing industry and many wineries putting their award winners stickers on their wine labels. This shows the buyer that the wine is an award winning wine, but again does not show what is inside the bottle so I and the team at Glass of Bubbly have created 11 categories by flavour and occasion.
Examples include Sea Breeze, Meditation, Gastronomic and thus allows the end consumer to picture the kind of experience the wine will be offering them.
